Small Town Fever Inside

Dreams of big city born

And raised upon

Shoulders of little minds

Carrying coins of strength,

When being tossed by luck

The one who belonged to

Tiny roads full of mud

Landed in shiny space

Of newly known Landscape

Yet the smell of muddy waters

Surrounding the local shops

Kept living and growing

Inside each part of yours

To remind someday despite

Being loved beneath the sky of

Glassy walls of your fancy place

You still belong to the ground

Of a home which kept breathing

Recklessly for a wait that seems

To never end while you carried

Inside you a fever of small town

Though the town roads

Needed a real mend
